Australia is covered by 1-250,000 scale topo's which are the least detailed but great for 4WD in all areas except for the Alpine Regions.

1-25,000 and 1-50,000 scales are the most detailed topos produced and are used for Walking, 4WD, Gold Prostecting, Camping, Riding etc.
