Great Oyster 1-50,000 Topographic Map Tasmap 

This map covers the southern portion of the scenic Freycinet Peninsula along with Schouten Island to its south. The Freycinet Peninsula consists of scenic white sand beaches and prominent pink granite peaks attracting bushwalkers, photographers and recreational boaters.

On the western portion of the sheet the scenic Tasmania Highway winds its way through farm estates dating back to the early 19th century and isolated surf beaches.

The design of the 1:50 000 Map Series provides a clear and accurate portrayal of topographic information, with symbols and map content giving enhanced depiction of buildings, hill shading and a simplified classification of vegetation.
